En prenant comme exemple le principe de portfolio de modèle, j’ai exploré le rapport au corps et la mise en avant du visage, dans une série de photos de mode un peu étrange.

Taking the principle of a model portfolio as an example, I explored the relationship to the body and the highlighting of the face, in a series of somewhat strange fashion photos :                       "To our bodies"

Avec ce projet, j’ai voulu parler d’humanité et de rapport à soi dans une ambiance calme et étrange. Pour cela, j’ai réalisé une série de tableaux, de portraits, qui racontent chacun une histoire différente et complémentaire. Chaque tableau parle de dévoilement de différentes manières. Comment chaque personne se montre en cachant une partie de ce qu’elle est ou en se montrant entièrement avec fierté. Pour transmettre cette idée, j’ai utilisé un drap pour la fluidité de mouvement et notre rapport au cacher et dévoiler ; du fil pour parler de limite et d’emmêlement ; du maquillage pour l’idée de masque ou d’affirmation d’une identité et enfin le cercle pour ce qu’on accepte, ce qu’on met en valeur. Pour accentuer chaque idée, j’ai caché différentes parties du visage et/ou mis en valeur certaines afin de créer une série de photographies qui fonctionnent ensemble comme individuellement en traduisant nos différentes façons de nous montrer. Un sujet de travail qui me paraissait important avec l’idée de photographie de mode.

With this project, I wanted to talk about humanity and our relationship to ourselves in a calm and strange atmosphere. For this, I created a series of pictures, portraits, each of which tells a different and complementary story. Each one speaks of unveiling in different ways. How each person shows themselves by hiding a part of what they are or by showing themselves entirely with pride. To convey this idea, I used a sheet for the fluidity of movement and our relationship to hiding and revealing; thread to speak of limits and entanglement; makeup for the idea of ​​a mask or affirmation of an identity and finally the circle for what we accept, what we highlight. To accentuate each idea, I hid different parts of the face and/or highlighted certain ones in order to create a series of photographs that work together as individually by translating our different ways of showing ourselves. A subject of work that seemed important to me with the idea of ​​fashion photography.
